From a simple concept, 2ndCell Systems™ International was formed in 2005 with a unique plan to provide the Professional Tradesman with the most powerful cordless tool battery power source on the market today. From the initial design 2ndCell Systems™ mission was to not change the way the Tradesman does his work, just help him do his work better.

With initial products proposed in early 2004 it became clear to the founders of 2ndCell Systems™ that there was a large breach in cordless tool battery technology as to the products available today that provide longer lasting power and flexibility needed in the commercial, industrial and service industries. By using tried and true battery chemistry in an innovative metal incased “D” cell format batteries, 2ndCell Systems™ engineers and product design professionals have produced an alternate power source that exceeds the demanding requirements on the job site today.

We are proud of our roots, and proud of whom we are today. Thanks to the far-reaching vision of a few, and under the guidance and management of many forward-thinking individuals over the years, 2ndCell Systems™ is to become the innovator of the next generation of tool battery technology.
